** Stars SUNDAY Micro MTT Challenge ***
Another impresive turnout on friday. Here's the details for tonight's challenge.
Ok for those who don't know what this is, on Pokerstars on a few days during the week (friday is one of them) they have a slew of Micro buying ($1, $2, $3) multi table tournaments. So I organize a competition to see who can perform best in these tournaments for the night. Entry fee is $10, winner take all. The brand spankin new (but still BETA and if this sucks, will change again) scoring system is: 1% - 150 pts 2% - 145 pts 3% - 140 pts ... 29% - 10 pts 30% - 5 pts w/ 5 bonus points for each place at the FT. An extra 10 points for 9th, 15 for 8th, 20 for 7th, 25 for 6th, 30 for 5th, 35 for 4th, 40 for 3rd, 45 for 2nd, 50 for 1st. Alright, hopefully this works out. (Thanks to GrinningBuddha for this) ----- I'm listening to suggestions on the scoring system, if anyone has any ideas. ----- Ok so these are the tournaments included: 8 - NLHE $3 9 - NLHE $2 9:30 - Stud $1 9:45 - NLHE $3 10 - NLHE $1 10:15- NLHE $2 10:30- NLHE $1 10:45- NLHE $2 11 - NLHE $1 -------- Defending champ: Blindcurve -------- Send $10 to Exitonly4 to get in, acceepting $ from now till 9:30pm -------- Hope i didn't forget anything, if i did lemme know.. Good luck everybody. edit:: And this week there is a $50 2nd level bet.... Anynyone who wants to compete for a $50 each pool (Adanthar mentioned this, Me and Golden did it friday) Just say so, and send $60 instead (that'll get you into both pools, the $10 and the $50)

I've been wanting to do this for weeks now, but due to time zones (damn those time zones) all the tourneys start 7 hours later than EST. 8 tournaments in the middle of the night don't make for a good day at school tomorrow so..

That system is gonna suck...all these tourneys have huge fields, so there are gonna be weeks when no one gets a 30'th.
Can you alter that a bit and give points down to the top 100 or something? It should be way better and make for some races late.

30th Percent adanthar...
I tried to pick a system that rewarded a broad range of finishes. There definitely won't be weeks when no one finishes top 30% (in 10 tournaments)
