i know its hard to believe a player wouldnt raise with a big pair there but i have seen it so much that it pays to fold against a tight player.

Not like it matters, but I agree with this. Also this hand is small stakes.

You're either playing results or getting senile like the rest of us geezers. I only had to call an additional $100 or so and the pot (including his raise) was about $240. There was enough doubt before I saw his hand to make this an easy call.

If we were much deeper it might be a different story.

My only issue here is that even the pot is large, it's likely a slightly ahead/way behind situation, and I think that you'll see AK/AQ/AA/KK/QQ more often thatn 22-TT often enough that this is a laydown.

When I went into a short tank I may have made the mistake of putting my mind into his head before going for the read. I'd consider playing AQ that way with this situation and stack size and never would play AA thru QQ that way.
