Default 3 bet A9s OTB against 2+2er

CO is a 2+2er, BB is 70/50 over 20 hands, hasn't been as agressive as his stats would indicate, he has checkraised LP on the river HU in a blind battle and done some other donkish things, though. Haven't really seen him raise with air yet.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, CO folds, Hero calls

Turn: (5.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero???

Fold the flop. Check the turn when checked to.

I did fold the flop in the real hand, but after I thought it should've been a peel. Don't you think I have 4+ outs here?

You call a river bet?

I fold the river if bet into and check it through if checked to.

On the flop, I don't think peeling is a crime, but I don't like to do it. I feel like I'm mostly bet into in these situations when a player is looking for action.

i play a little game when faced with this situation.i try to place my opp on a hand.my thinking is this,if he had a king he would bet on the turn if he had middle pair he would bet the turn however if he had a straight draw with a back door flush he might check hoping 4 a free card if he thought u would give it to him. So,i would put him on the 9-8 of spades or clubs and bet out on the turn if nither 5 or 10 hits the board. If he calls ur bet then check the river unless a either a 9 or an A hits the river then bet 4 value

that flop bet is a low pocket protection bet. a weak 6 or 7 maybe or a draw hoping to scare peole.

our backdoors, big pot, and the fact we could have the best hand and outs to peel i call the flop.

but i'm checking that turn. i don't think we're winning this hand right here with a bet often enough and getting c/r would suck. i'm probably folding the river UI if bet into.

It's a bet into a pre-flop raisor and 3-bettor from a cold caller.

yes i see that, but BBs stats say "i play anything from the blinds because i already have paid once". i could be entirely wrong, but like you said, peeling isn't criminal, so i'm merely offering other hands that he could have other than a K or a set.
