A steal attempt is likely to get called more than 1/3 of the time, meaning -EV. Re-raises are an auto-fold. Bad play.

When you are called, you have to hope for top pair, and if you get them you have to worry about being out-kicked. Sure formula to lose a lot of chips and way more stress than you should put yourself through on this hand.

I fold this every time pre-flop.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the approximate odds that someone has a better hand than him, with 5 other players at the table? And by better, I don't count pocket pairs lower than JJ, because that's pretty much a coinflip.

So specifically, I'm wondering what the odds are that someone else has JJ-AA,AJ,AQ,AK, or KQ.
