QQ Preflop Decision

Just got back from a profitable 1-2 NL session (I cashed out up $925 in 5 hours)and felt good about my play. However, when I was sitting on about $600 in chips I was dealt QQ and raised 3 limpers to $15 from the button. SB immediately announces all in for $130 total and someone with about $50 calls. I fold my hand face up, putting him on KK or AA. He shows AKs and I would have won the hand (not that this matters). I still feel good about the laydown, because I can only imagine him having 3 hands. AKs, KK, or AA. And I'm wayyyy behind 2 of them and only slightly ahead of the other. Was it the right laydown? The all in player was solid and ABC predictable so I didn't want to gamble, seeing as I was already up abour $500 on the night. Comments?

Assuming this is a 100bb max buyin structure very bad fold IMO...you'd be surprised what shortish stacks are willing to push. That is, unless you are unwilling to take races for your money (ie underbankroled). The overlay with the 50 guy extra calling (who certainly doesn't have you beat), the possibility that guy calling (or the other limpers) are limping with an ace or king is probable. I say, easy call. Let's see what these guys have.

I made some thread on this before. Maybe others argue with me, but I think QQ is too strong to fold to a move like this (without a read). JJ is a possible holding he might have, but AK is the most likely holding IMO.

With the read you gave you can lay this down. Against a typical short stack in a game like this, its an easy call. However, If the player was tight and solid, then there aren't many hands he can have. However, the AK push there suggests to me that his range is much wider than you suggest, including JJ and maybe 10 10, in this case I call, especially with the call for 50 from the one dude.
Folding face up in pointless, muck it face down, dont give away information. Dont let how much you are up or down come into play when you are making decisions (as one poster noted).

Thanks for the advice. The buy in was min $50 and max $100, and I would say the average stack was about $80. So me having around $500-600 was a huge advantage. I wasn't afraid to gamble, I just thought AA or KK was a very real possibility. And the reason I folded faceup is to show that I can lay down a big hand, and maybe if someone thinks they can run me over I can break them (it paid off when someone bet preflop with 77 and I picked up aces. I took his last $75). It's rare for me to lay down such a big hand but I still feel good about it. BTW the caller who had $50 won the side pot with his KJ. Yes, KJ!
