Default Sweet lord, I just finished a huge project.

I've been working on an animation for the past 10 weeks and I just finished tonight. Feels great to be done. It can be viewed here.

To pass, I have to screen my film for the film and animation students and faculty, which happens Monday or Tuesday of next week. I'm a pretty nervous; let me know what you guys think.

the ending saved it. otherwise it was just too drawn out with too many pauses.

Since you just finished ten weeks of work, I'm going to hold back a bit.

Starting with a positive comment should help. The voice acting seemed very good.

The animation had what I think is a flaw. The characters clothing didn't have any contrast with their skin. It was a bad visual.

Of course, the real problem is the story. I'm not sure what motivated you to make film about a dog watching pornography with an OC cast member. But, don't let that be your motivation for future projects. It was a poor choice, especially for something going to be seen by a school faculty.

And, comedy might not be your area of expertise.

I liked it. From the perspective of someone that doesn't know anything about animation, I thought it looked pretty cool.

I also got a couple of chuckles out of the story.

I have a weird sense of humor, but I thought it was really funny. Good writing if it was you.

"I jogged here"
"But isn't it like 50 miles? That doesn't even make sense."
" I dunno."

I know nothing about the animation so no comments there. Someone complained about the pauses, I thought they enhanced the chic-funny-weird vibe.

Good stuff, hope your professor has a sense of humor.

One thing though. The very long pauses and slow moving plot didn't really....add ambiance to it for me...it just made me quite bored.

Still though...I thought a couple parts were pretty funny....just wish there was more action and/or voice acting (b/c that was pretty good actually).

Thanks for the feedback so far. As a film/animation kid I'm used to getting flamed on a regular basis, so don't hold back.

I have a pretty offbeat sense of humor which makes my projects very hit or miss--definitely evident in the comments so far.

And as far as my professors, they all go by their first names without exception, if that says anything about them.

I was worried about this. I like accentuating awkward moments and usually end up overdoing it; probably my biggest leak.

I also actually originally recorded alot more voiceover type stuff but took most of it out in the final edit because I felt like things were becoming too dialogue-driven. Perhaps more of a balance...

Glad you liked it, though.
