Default Should I be up for action?

Stars $3 MTT. I have 1,412 chips. Got involved in a chopped pot with AK when we both had a straight. Have been playing tight, seeing a lot of bad cards. 2nd position. Pick up the 'double rulers' KK. Blinds are at 15/30. I raise to 120. Pretty standard. Short stack who was just moved to my table goes all in for 235. Another player who was just moved to my table calls the 235 and has 3,000 behind. It's back to me. What do I do? I decided to push all in. Is that a stupid move? I didn't want him getting a look at a flop with a cheap ace. Is that a smart decision or should I make it 500?
