Re: Neteller closed my account
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I have even heard that Neteller locks accounts if more than one account is used on the same computer. [/ QUOTE ] If the accounts have different mailing addresses. [/ QUOTE ] I have 2 Neteller accounts on the same comp. Different mailing addresses. No problems so far. I have NOT done a p2p transfer from one to the other. I have also logged into neteller from about 5 different locations. |

Re: Neteller closed my account
My housemate and I both have accounts and log-in from the same computer. When he signed up they called and asked if he knew me (matching address), they said it was fine we're just not allowed to do P2P transfer.

Re: Neteller closed my account
[ QUOTE ]
I can attest to this as a fact. My father, not a gnome, was getting started and I transferred him some money via Netellers peer-to-peer transfer. He then logged in at my computer to complete the transfer. The money was transferred but then both accounts were closed shortly after. I had to call and get it cleared up. I was also very sternly warned against using more than one account on the same computer. [/ QUOTE ] p2p-ing to someone on the same computer will cause an evil neteller leprechaun to pop out of the screen and kill your first born child. |

Re: Neteller closed my account
The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I called them and they told me it was a random check and will only happen once. Just to confirm your identity through a personal phone call from your home I guess. Nothing to worry about.
