Q9s hand 1-2 nl 6 handed
Ive just began learning to play nl and Im wondering if you can help with this hand and you would take a different line of action. I just sat down at the table and I have no reads on any of the players.
UTG UTG+1 MP Hero: Q9s SB BB we each have around 200 to start MP calls HEro raises to 6 SB calls BB folds Flop: 962 all hearts MP bets 2, Hero raises to 8 SB calls, MP calls turn is a 8s. MP cehcks, HEro bets 15, SB calls, MP calls rivers a Qc. MP checks, Hero checks, SB bets 20, MP raises to 50. Hero calls. I'll post results soon.

Why are you raising with Q9s?
If at all possible a beginner should try to play full table poker....IMHO. SH play involves alot more psychology and marginal/aggressive play.
