Default My wife is married to a poker player, so .....

We have plans to shop for HDTV's even though I haven't completed my research so that I know what to look for.

I find out that there was a message last night from a friend who says they need a player at a $30 SNG home tourney.

It starts in 3 hours.

My wife is upset when I ask her to reschedule our shopping. She says she is mad because I didn't consider what she would be doing for lunch if I left (we usually eat together on weekends - we have no kids)

Funny thing is, she doesn't complain about me playing poker when I bring home all of this poker money so that we can buy toys like HDTV's for example (aww I wanted to keep this objective but I had to throw that in).

So am I the bad guy here or is she overreacting ? Thanks in advance for responding and for reading about my petty insignificant problems...

Sounds like a good smacking is in order. Set this bitch right. Tell her who is boss, more cliches, etc.

For a 30$ sng you're going to ditch your wife? At least ditch her for an important tourney.

later and gl

Is it really worth it? C'mon, you know how it will go.

The only way I could possibly support your decision to play cards would be if your wife deliberately did something to keep you from getting that message. And even then it would be a stretch.

Even a non-OOTer like me knows you're most likely in trouble.
