Re: AKs, 1/2 6-max
I think you went a little nutso here. I just call the flop, raie the turn amd call down if checkraised or three bet there. I havenet played 1/2 but I've heard its generally passive, which makes my arguement stronger.
Edit: damn, beat me to it |

I didn't put him on anything. I was just playing my own hand. Perhaps that explains my 6-max success (lack of). [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: AKs, 1/2 6-max
Truth be told, I think I need to step away from 6-max for a bit. I am getting beat left and right and its affecting my game, as evidenced by this hand. To be honest this is the first stretch I can recall where nothing seems to be going right.
Sometimes its good to hear it from others. |

Re: AKs, 1/2 6-max
This is a pretty major spew. The flop cap is bad, the turn 3bet is even worse. You can usually pull a free card play at 1/2 because its so passive, but that's also the reason the 3bet should cause you to put brakes on in a major way. I would raise the turn if he led at me again, and call a raise because I have outs against a two pair hand, even though I really really hate getting 3bet. But he's telling you he knows you likely hit the K, and he doesn't give a [censored]. 3betting is bad, bad, bad.
