Well, I can't say I'm surprised that nobody voted for Mavrick ... he just does not have all the right moves to be top gun. He should know that the plaque for the alternates is down in the ladies room.
Anyway, he is dangerous and I always knew he'd screw up and Hondo would have him flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog [censored] out of Hong Kong! I mean, if they guy's ego is writing checks his body can't cash, this would be the perfect assignment.

Hey! Are you the nimrods who were playing beach volleyball while I was rotting my ass of in a Vietcong prison camp waiting to be rescued?
I voted for William, at least he wouldn't be playing volleyball at a time of national crisis.
