Typical blind defense situation
This happened to me a few times today. I took a few different lines, and I'm not sure which one I like best.
Say you have JTo in the bb and call an aggressive CO's open raise. 5 handed or so. The flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] You check raise and are called. The turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) What is the line here and why? Assume that CO is agressive enough that you really want to see the sd, but is not crazily aggro.

Check-call the turn, and bet/fold the river seems the best line here. He may bluff-raise the turn on the scare card but I think it's very unlikely he will pop the river without anything beating TJ.

I agree checking the turn is best. The turn will get bet nearly every time, but he would fold some hands if you bet, and raise enough to make folding bad.
What circumstances would make check-raising here good?
