What are we gonna play as far as limits go? Are we talking limit? No-limit?

Games and limits are negotiable.

I would prefer either 3-6 with 2-3 blinds, or 5-10 with 3-5 blinds.

I agree definitely a blind structure to encourage a little more action. I don't really care if the limits are .25/.5 (with nickel antes) or 5/10.

If there is such a thing as calling seats, I call a seat to the left of LAGkick. Only to show what loose aggressive really is.

I, personally, am not BR'd for that kind of action, but I would certainly understand if everyone else wants to play higher limits than I can hang with.

In the spirit of Bob T.'s generous post, I offer bdk3clash's apartment as a regular home game spot for NYC 2+2ers. Is that okay, Brad?

[/ QUOTE ]

I generously decline.

To elaborate, here is an artist's rendition of what my apartment would look like:

I'm not sure sitting down and playing against other 2+2ers is a great idea when there are 30 tables available to beat up on others....but I don't mind showing up to meet a few people.

Playing against good opponents isn't the best way to maximize your short-term EV. However, the whole point is to learn and improve your game. Some of the biggest leaps my game has taken has been from playing with and discussing poker with good opponents.

In the long term, playing against and discussing the game with good opponents will make you a better player.

and it's about having fun.

Going to canterbury is always -EV comapaired to playing online for me, yet I still get enough 'fun' out of it to do it every once in awhile. Golf is another -EV activity, yet I don't think about how i'm spending money instead of making it.

I haven't played in a 'good' (what I would usually call 'bad') game in a long time.
