Re: Pocket Aces, Standard?
The PF raise was standard and I can't blame villain for calling it either assuming he could get away from a King-high rainbow. You have to bet more on the flop and turn. I don't mind the overbet either as a smaller PP might call thinking you're trying to buy it with a big Ace. I go broke with this hand regardless but I am unsure if that's a leak...

Re: Pocket Aces, Standard?
If you start making it more than 3x when you have aces, 3x other times, it's a tell. either pick 3x or 4x and stick with it, or vary it for no apparent reason.

Re: Pocket Aces, Standard?
Bet more on the turn to get someone with a 7 to commit himself to the pot right then rather than letting a scary overcard fall on the turn which will lose you action. I'd try and get him to commit closer to 1/4 - 1/3 his stack on the turn.

[ QUOTE ]
3x preflop there is standard. You are being results oriented. [/ QUOTE ] He probably would have folded KTs to a 4xBB preflop raise, but do you want him to do that? He is not going to always make quads. |
