Re: Admit You Don\'t Believe in Miracles
[ QUOTE ]
It amounts to the same thing in terms of what I am trying to get out of the conversation, which is the acknowledgement from believers that they do not in fact KNOW what they claim to KNOW. [/ QUOTE ] You've fallen so far down your own rabbit hole I don't think I'll ever be able to read your posts again without laughing. Scott |

Thats why I'm here, for my own amusement and possibly yours as well. Or not. If I actually believed these conversations "went" somewhere I would treat them far differently. g |

Perhaps your contributions are a big reason for them not "going" anywhere. |

[ QUOTE ] Miracles are things outside of the bounds of science, not logic. [/ QUOTE ] Lol, not only is this also not an accepted definition of "miracle", but it pretty much excludes every alleged miracle. Scott [/ QUOTE ] What are you talking about? |

Re: Admit You Don\'t Believe in Miracles
Wouldn't most Christians believe that God has handed down two sets of laws. Many of the laws handed down during the Old Testament period are , or at least somewhat, contradicted in the New Testament.
Or are you trying to compare laws handed down to Jewish/Christian relgions to Muslim religions? Saying its possible that he handed law to both religions? Or are you trying to just make it so everyone who believes in God has to admit a contradiction, in your mind? Also, I would not classify handing down two different sets of laws as a miracle. |

It is often said that listening to Mozart will raise your IQ... After reading this post, I think I have found something that lowers it.

Re: Admit You Don\'t Believe in Miracles
This is like Homer Simpson's question:
"Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat it?" The answer is "yes"...I mean "no". |
