Default Do all Prima skins calculate rakeback in the same way?

I've noticed that percentages offered for Battlefield seem higher than those on the other skins.

Any idea if they all calculate rake the same way?

Is it simply being dealt in like the ex-party skins, or do you need to contribute to pot?

Thanks

prima skins, at least bet hold'em, calculate rake based on what you contributed to the pot... from what i understand, all prima sites are like this.

Obviously this is going to amount in a little bit less for a TA player. Does anyone have any idea of what this would translate to percentage wise based on the other method if you were getting 35%?

So if you fold the $1 small blind and the pot ends up $40, you only get credit for $1 of rake?

Or does it apportion it equally among everyone who put any money in at all?

Thanks

Has anyone done any calculations on the difference between the two methods?

Theoretically, over the long term, there should be a VPIP% where the two methods would be roughly equal.

If you put $1 in a $40 pot, a 1/40 share of the rake is credited to your MGR.

Speculation: the following seems logical but no one has confirmed it.

The root of the MGR computation must be the revenue allocation formula of the network. The player gets credit for 1/40 of the MGR because that is what the player's skin received. That's why they all are likely to base rakeback on the percentage of money you contributed to the pot. They don't want to be distributing money to players that they didn't receive from Prima. In fact Prima may not even report the numbers any other way.

Not only does this formula favor loose players over tight players, it also favors skins that recruit fish over skins that cater to high-volume players. That's probably good from a network business perspective as it may reduce the sort of conflicts that created so much inter-skin friction on the Party network.

Preflop aggression, postflop play, and the way your opponents play also matter very much.

Everyone who has entered the pot gets equal share. If 3 people contributed to the pot then each player gets 1/3 rake. It doesn't matter how much you contribute as long as you contribute.
