Default Berry Johnston

never heard of him until last night's wsop. anybody know anything about him. he sounds like an unbelievable player.

Used to hold the record for most times in the money at the WSOP. Solid solid player. Dan Harrington-like.

I sat next to him at the WSOP (1500 PLO)

He went all in with the nut straight and re draws to higher straights on a rainbow flop when the other guys top set paired the board on the river.


(see it happens to everyone)

As i remember he argued (loudly) with the dealer over how much a pot bet "could have been" in a hand he folded pre-flop. I could see he was wrong but I found no good reason to chime in.

He later told the dealer he was right.

Good card player. grouchy as hell.
