the IP address thing worked, though I had to get the one for forumserver.twoplustwo.com (69.20.77.98). Unfortunately, not clicking on any link brings it back to "forumserver.twoplustwo.com", which means I have to replace that with the IP every time i click on a link.
logging in and posting weren't as simple, since clicking on the button would not work or bring me to a page where replacing the IP did anything. I had to copy the source code and make my own temporary web page, replacing forumserver again with the IP. It's kinda crappy, but it's better than work.

Not much. I just made a custom browser just for twoplustwo at work. There are a few bugs (the back button doesn't seem to work real well, and you can't preview your posts), but it's pretty cool.

I work 3rd shift as a "Technical Document Specialist", whatever that is.
Basically, I do what I want. Sure, people tell me what to do sometimes, but they're never around when I actually have to do them. I also work alone on Friday and Saturday nights. Sometimes I feel like working, sometimes I don't. The latter is becoming more and more frequent recently. If anyone is interested in a custom 2+2 browser for work, PM me.
