Default Best gift you\'ve ever received?

When I moved out to go to college, my mom* gave me a housewarming gift of a set of Henkel steak knives. At the time I was 'meh' but frankly they're the best gift I have ever received and I still have half the set, almost 20 years later. If you've never owned a really nice set of knives you do not know what you are missing, particularly if you enjoy steak as much as I do!

Given that many of us are still last-minute shopping and could use all the help we can get, what's the best gift you've ever received (any occaision)?

*This was a really strange occurance because when I lived with my parents we never had steak knives - We'd always hack our way through steak (etc) with a butter knife! (Bleh!)

My father and brother got me a PC one year. Totally unexpected, but something I REALLY wanted and couldn't afford at the time. I got a kitten that Christmas too- one of my very favorite holiday memories over the years
