If I'm not mistaken, the second one is supposed to focus more on small/single table tournies.
Can anyone confirm?

Well, it's more about the endgame. And SNG's have similarities to the endgame of regular tourneys.

Supposedly there is a topic called "inflection point theory" that is supposed to shake up the poker tournamnet world.

Can't wait

Was the first one any good? (this is not a joke).
I could search the "books" forum, but i kinda would like to know the "SnGers perspective". Did this book (#1) help anyone? In ways that S/S, Champ NL/PL HE, and TOP dont cover?

Thanks in advance. Dissertations welcomed, but simple yay or nay is plenty. Should i buy a copy of #1, and #2 ?

HOH Vol I helped my game tremendously. I have bought many, many poker books (around 17 of them) using the logic that I may learn a little something from each of them.

I only play SNGs on line (at the $10 level) and go to Vegas about 4 times a year and play in low buy in MTTs.

HOH advanced my game more than any other book that I have read.

I am certainly looking forward to HOH Vol II

I is a good book. You'll surely find enough information in it to recoup the $30 or whatever it costs (I think I paid $24 on Amazon).

Can't wait for HOH 2. Should help with Party's structure and SnGs more than the 1st one.
