PC Audio sounds like the Chipmunks, HELP! (waaaay OT)

Any of you computer guys know why my PC audio would be playing everything at super high-speed? Everything sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks. CDs, streaming audio, etc.

i have never heard of that. id think it was the speakers if i had to start troubleshooting.

Try re-installing the sound card drivers. Go to your start button, then help, then type in sounds/audio. You should get options for troubleshooting. If you can figure out how to re-install the drives, do it. Thye go corrupt all the time.

I wish. Thanks for the replies (serious and not), it was the drivers.
