Default Uderfull on the turn - Party 6 Max, $200

Here's a hand I played yesterday which is stil stuck in my craw.

I ($225) limp UTG+1 with 3c3d. Folded to the SB ($330) who calls and the Villain in the Big Blind ($220) checks. POt is $6.

My read on Villain is that he's not a moron but doesn't know what he's doing either. He too loose preflop and fairly aggressive on the flop but he slows way down on the turn and river. For you poker tracker guys, I think he's like 48, 8, 1.

Flop comes:
3h 6c Td

SB checks, Villain bets $6, I call (?), SB folds.

Pot is $18.

The turn is 6d.

SB checks. I ?

I raise the flop on a hand like this about 90% of the time.

Thoughts and comments.

Pot the flop. Look to get as much money in as you can on this board at this limit he'll call with a wide range of hands. You gain nothing by checking.

why not lead the flop this hand? you're OOP and this is an un-raised pot. i'm leading my sets in unraised pots 100% of the time.

lead the flop, 3/4 of the pot on the turn.

I'm in position against the blinds.

This guy had been taking shots at raggedy flops with 3 or less people in the hand and folding to aggression.

At some point you need to get aggressive in an unraised pot. There isn't enough out there for him to bluff at. With your line you limit your opportunity to win a big pot which is why you played 33 in the 1st place.

You need to re-read the original post.

No worries.

I smooth called because, as I said, this guy was taking shots at raggedly flop and folding when played back at. Even though this thread is young I'm beginning to fully realize that I made a grievous error.
