Why?
Tourneys are paid at the lowest possible jackpot amount other than free rolls

Is it possible to tell what the stakes were in this tournament that hand 2980000000 was in? The hand information doesn't seem to tell that, except to say that it was a real money tournament. It says 30/60, but that was just the level of the tournament. I'm not even sure from the hand history if it was single or multi table.

Not sure but Fremdigity is playing in a $5 sitngo with a tourney # of 17134107 so I'd say there is a good chance it was a $5 SnG.

according to the T&C's...if it gets hit on a private table then nobody gets paid.

i gave up on this damn thing ever starting...looks like the tourney started registering about 2 minutes after I go tup to do some errands around the abode.
Oh well...guess I'm missing out on my $6 of EV.
But it was taking them SOOOOOO freaking long to get that thing up there.

Just looked up the table # and it IS a $5 SNG. It's still running and there are two people left.

Edit: Oops, not the same people so I guess the original SnG ended.

I guess i got really lucky - my internet connection went down on about the xxxx90,000 hand and i only managed to open two tables prior to the 2,980,000,000 hand. But I played hands 2,979,999,985 and 2,980,000,100 on those two tables. So I was pretty close.

Fish,

They changed the T&C! Private Tables are no longer an option!

In this case, its bad that they read these forums
