Default Noteable Point From Ray Zee\'s article.

It's great to have your own plum tree that produces great tasting fruit. Can't beat that ever. Makes you want to own an orchard.

It also illustrates that Ray Zee has his priorities straight.

easy. get a fruit tree you like. they are only about 20 bucks. if you only get one make sure it is self pollinating. plant it in some place that wiil not get paved over in your lifetime. you get the satisfaction of seeing it grow and most likely will get all the fruit as others dont usually take fruit from trees they dont know much about.

Really? And here I have so many fond memories of picking fruit from strange trees...

Just have to be sure to wash it first. You never know.

Put it in a big pot and make sure it gets sunlight somewhere.
We have a big yard but may move soon, so I didnt want to plant. I have a dwarf tahitian lime tree in a big pot which is already producing limes and 4 small avocado trees in pots too. easy.

You could try the plant it somewhere on public land as well. If its out of the way, noone'll find it easily.

Ray Zee's articles seem to produce 3 responses:

1. Stop with that nature crap and tell me how to play AK. Second thoughts, who is this guy anyway, what tv shows has he been on? I'm probably a better player than him.

2. Deep. I'm going to have to think long and hard about beavers. I'm sure there's a good half BB in there somewhere.

3. Why am I spending time playing cards? I could be living in the mountains and growing my own food.

Of course, 3 is the correct answer.
