Because you open your account with an affiliate through clicking on his link doesn't mean the fish goes the same way. You have no idea what it takes to bring in "new" players. The fish isn't reading 2+2 and doesn't see all the banners. I have to find my crazy gamblers in clubs and Casinos. Then i have to tell them how to handle a mouse not even to speak on how to open an account . I need to help them with Neteller. I transfer my money to them . I have one guy that lost already 100k within 9 month of playing. And as you know ; i make more money from winning players because most of the losers are gone after a while and not generating any more rake. And then, while you are killing the fish that i brought to you ; you also start telling them how stupid they are and that the affiliates are making all the money and they should ask me for rakeback. I still find it highly unfair. You want people like me bring in the (money) fish but you don't like to see that i get my share. Fact is ; rakeback was never supposed to be and it always was against the rules. That's why Party had to do something. And to all that now yell they are going to Stars. Good luck. They don't even give the affiliates a fare share. There also will be no rake back. The whole idea is to play poker. If you depend on rakeback learn to improve your game to compensate. Or go to the Bellagio and ask them for rakeback.

You are getting your share. If I had signed up under you, you would get to keep your share of my rake when I play on that skin.

I choose not to play on that skin since the monetary value of my play is worth something to me and other affiliates.

And I do hope the Bellagio part was a joke since Las Vegas certainly has a much better grasp of the concept of comping the actual player than you do. Bellagio definately are into rakeback.

They don't?? (you know...if they don't give you an appropriate amount you really don't have to go out of your way to bring in more players....it's kind of a voluntary thing if you haven't noticed).



when I started on party I didn't know about rake-back.
I got a free $50 or $75 or something direct into my account from my affiliate which I thought was REALLY nice of him.


Eventually I set up rake-back at skins accounts but I still occasionally played at party on my old account...mostly when the bad-beat jackpot was enticing to me.


When I played 20k hands in 4 days (last February) in the Party promotion to win the seat on the PPM cruise I'm guessing that my affiliate made $2k that week just because I was playing as hard as I was.

Yes...I won the cruise seat (and also won cash on the cruise and it was great)
but he kept whatever money he was making off of me.


Obviously this was the deal we initially made (since I was a bit of a n00b and didn't know about MGR).

I'm really not sure if I am justified in feeling any bitterness about it or not.
But this guy made some decent cash off of me I am guessing.

I eventually closed my party account and opened another one without rakeback because I was almost more comfortable in Dikshit getting my rake for some reason.

i'm not exactly sure why.


if the affiliate reads this...hey, I like you and we never made any rake-back deal to begin with and I understand that...
but you know how much moo-lah you made off of my play so I hope there is no resentment on your part regarding some of my feelings.
