Turn stop and go by 2+2
From 100+9 on Monday night. I've been at the table for one orbit, so no real reads. Had not played a hand at the table a
Villian in this hand is someone I respect from 2+2. I'm just curious as to how others play this hand. I'm happy with my fold I think, but it made me wonder if since this was my first hand at the table if my continuation bet was obvious enough that he would make this play with air. Is this version of a stop and go something anybody uses regularly? I rarely have used stop and gos, and never really have experimented with them post flop. Thanks for all analysis.... [ QUOTE ]
Villian in this hand is someone I respect from 2+2. Flop: (t975) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets t350 [/ QUOTE ] Either check behind (I would) or bet more on the flop. This bet will get you absolutely nowhere. |

Re: Turn stop and go by 2+2
If there are no antes, don't get in the habit of raising more than 3xBB preflop. It forces you to bet too much on future streets to protect your hand.
You may have odds to call this turn bet; you only need to win the hand 23% of the time to make the call correct. But you wouldn't be in the position of deciding if you hadn't made such a tiny flop bet. |

Re: Turn stop and go by 2+2
yea espeecially into two players... someones vs just one you can get away with a small flop bet, but against two players i dont think that would be the time.
