Can't log in to Pokernow and party simultaneously

Here is your chance to help out the computer illiterate.

I've got accounts on Party and Pokernow, but can't log into both at the same time. The screennames are similar, but not exactly the same.

Whichever one I log into first opens up fine.

When I try to open up the other one, it pulls up the lobby from which ever skin I'm currently in. This happens whether or not I use a desktop shortcut or open the program up from the start menu.

This is not a problem at all with Empire. I can pull up Empire and Party or Emipre and Pokernow without a problem.

Yes, I did try using the search function here, but without finding anything helpful. All the questions seem to be about how to open up two accounts in the first place.

Any ideas?

You can't.

Only way is to install one program while you have the other running.

Is this an issue just for Party and Pokernow?
It doesn't seem to affect Empire.

I haven't created accounts on other party skins yet. Will it affect them too?

Just the combination of Party and PokerNow. The rest of the skins can all be run simultaneously along with either Party or PokerNow.

Does the install during running still work for this combo? I can't seem to get it to, unsure if I'm doing it wrong? Hmm!

PokerNow vs. Party was the source of the re-installation workaround (none of the other skins required it). It did work for a while. Then PokerNow released an update to their software, and everyone said it didn't work after that. However, I just tried it and it worked.

-> Run Party Poker
-> Re-run the PokerNow installation
-> Let the PokerNow installation launch PokerNow

Make sure you have the latest copy of the PokerNow installation from it's website. If you run an old one, it will run an update and relaunch it, which probably will prevent it from working.
