Default 1st 20k 3/6 stats

So I got my first break from school this week, and decided to start learning poker again at 3/6. Lo and behld my hourly winrate has me slapping myself senseless for not making more effort towards poker this year. :-/ Too bad an 18 credit hour semester is starting back up again in less than a week.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I realize the position winrates are useless yet, but I think there is some valuabe info on that page.

I think you can loosen up a bit, raise a bit more, call a little bit more preflop. You obviously have some skills, so loosening up will give you a better winrate.

Bit aggro on the flop, it might be your style but its ok to call sometimes too.

You're running very well from the sb, so your real winrate might be closer to 2BB.

I think your stats look excellent for someone who's only played 20K hands.

You are a bit tight still but thats ok for now. In time you can start to iso-raise a bit and add some more hands.

Good luck.

thanks both of you. I tried loosening up a little, and promptly went on a 300BB (100 of them to this one 85% VPIP bastard who rivered me what has to be a record number of times) downswing. I think what I did was tried to steal more than I should have, but I have trouble raising things like A8 UTG. I lowered my early position raising standards a little, but maybe the more marginal situations are screwing me. I'm pretty sure I'm just running bad, but after 300BBs in two days, those words are pretty hollow.

Since that first 18k, these latest 6k:

It's not the money that bothers me- it's the irreparable damage to my BB/100. =[

I think you lose a lot of money by folding in your blinds too much. Your stats look good other than that.

your VP$IP from the SB is really low, mine is around 32. Is this a leak?

That's what mine is over 23K hands. I'm losing about .07BB

you might be folding too much on the river. its hard to say, since different styles have different optimal numbers, but 50% folding on river just seems awful high.

I think these numbers look fine. You could perhaps defend your BB a bit more, this will raise your PFR a touch.

Your flop aggression is very high, its difficult to tell without looking at some hands the reasons why.

When you have the roll step up to 5/10 - those numbers will win there.

With a 1/3 blind, I think under 30 is optimal.
