Default is this a chick car?

So i saw a pontiac solstice on the road the other day,
I thought it looks like a very cool car and would consider getting one when they are in dealerships in september, or maybe next spring.
but looking at their specs, they are only marginally larger than my girlfriend's mom's mazda miata, which is the epitome of a chick car.
So i'm going to do someting i never wanted to, and ask OOT's opinion

what do you think of the solstice, and is it a chick car?

And if it was featured in a James Bond movie, it'd be the studliest car ever.

I really don't think this is a chick car. Looks fairly aggressive as far as convertibles go. And, besides, chick cars aren't always such a bad thing. lol After all, women obviously like them, or they wouldn't be chick cars. Who cares what your friends think. Besides, I think most people consider any convertible shy of an Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lambo, Mercedes or Cobra a chick car.

Small two-seat roadsters are pretty much chick cars by default, but the styling of the front of the solstice makes it aggressive enough to possibly bump it out of severe chick-car territory.

It's hard to say for sure on the convertible from just these pictures. It's tough, though, to get a convertible that's not a chick car. As a general rule, I don't like convertibles, but there are exceptions. Definitely get the coupe if you must get one of these. To be honest, I'm not a real big fan of either one. I don't know what these cost, so I'll refrain from telling you what exactly you should get instead.

slightly better, larger image here.
