Surely one of his buds like El D or JA Sucker could do the typing while he dictated over the phone.

I think there's a wealth of information on these forums alone that could (nay, SHOULD) be compiled into a book. You don't need an author for this, just someone with a lot of time and patience.

I suggested this awhile back. I think the problem was that 2+2 doesn't own the content. The original posters do so there's no way to get everyone's permission or something.
