K10s vs. TAA out of position
After 300 hands villain is 12/6/4.
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, Hero raises, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds. Flop: (7.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, MP3 calls, CO folds. Turn: (4.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, MP3 calls. River: (6.75 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero?? Open-raise alright? River is the mother of all scare cards for my hand, but it can't look good to villain if he has something like KQ/KJ. |

Re: K10s vs. TAA out of position
I'm not really liking your chances, but I like them a lot more if you bet (and fold) rather than check (and call).

Re: K10s vs. TAA out of position
Hero bets, folds to a raise. A tight player would usually only cold-call with a hand like AQs or a pocket pair if he thought a lot of others were coming in.
I bet, if he raises I fold, the flush draw is most likely (and as usual he's had pot odds all the way), the river card is about the worst one you could hope to see, but it might scare him too as you say, if he's been calling all the way with a King. If he does have an aggression factor of 4 and has just been calling all the way since the flop I'd definitely have him on the flush draw but it seems strange that such a tight player would cold-call with QJ[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], QT[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], or JT[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], which are the only realistic hands. |
