<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero??

slow down? keep jamming the pot regardless of what he does? raise then call down if 3-bet? I think calling is bad, but it's tough to really get behind a pair of 8's there.

You're only ahead if he has a 3, a lower pocket pair, a straight draw, or a flush draw (or if he's bluffing). I don't put him on any of those hands when he caps the flop and leads out on the turn. I probably call down because the pot is fairly big due to the flop action, but I expect him to show me trips.

Call down. Since he is aggressive he could easilly have a small pocket pair, a flush draw, or perhaps just two big cards.

I would call down after his turn bet, you'll probably have the best hand just often enough.

Also raise preflop.

Call it, your cap didn't slow him down. I'm tempted to just call that 3bet btw.. If he's LAG then he woulda raised a higher PP PF. He might think his overcards are good, or just that you missed the board and is low PP might stand. It's HU, there's a pair on the board, so the probability is lower that anyone hit the board. That's the problem with aggro's, you can't tell when they hit!

I'm with the "call down from the 3-bet on" camp. He was in the BB and could have any two cards. Meaning he's more likely to have hit those trips than if you had raised preflop. Unless that logic is completely f[/i]ucked. Then ignore it.
