[ QUOTE ]
I hate Elway, not just for beating the Packers in Super Bowl 32, but also for entering the league refusing to play for the team that drafted him. John Stockton, and Steve Nash are two athletes I do not think many people hate. I think Karl Malone could be included in atheltes no one hates. I do not like that he went to the Lakers to try and win a championship, but I do not hate him. Troy Vincent too. David Robinson also.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have hated Stockton and Malone since I was a little kid. Both were pretty dirty players in Utah, especially Stockton after he got too old to chase young PGs around and just started tripping them or giving them charlie horses.

wow I didn't read the thread thoroughly enough to see Stockton and Malone nominated. I hate those guys. They were two of the cheapest, dirtiest players playing since I started watching as a kid. Karl Malone is widely hated, certainly by Portland fans. As for Stockton it's the same deal, most got tired of him when he started fouling all the time and never getting called for it.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Tim Brown yet. Pure class act and one of the best wide receivers that ever played.

You can't hate Jeter either. Ok, if you're a Red Sox fan and you hate on Jeter just to get on Yankee's fans nerves, that's fine. But Jeter is easily one of the most professional, humble, classy players in sports. You can't legitemately hate the guy.
