Default A8 in bb: several limp, and flop has an Ace

My reads: UTG is erratic, often raises light in late position, but capable of limping with junky hands or A little. CO is a solid TAG. SB is a fish.

How could you possibly play this any differently?

I don't think there's any other way to play this - you don't really want this flop checked through with the gutshot possibilities and you don't want anyone picking up 2 pair on the turn.

Well, I posted this for 2 reasons.

First, I thought it might be reasonable to go for a c/r, figuring that this flop must have hit someone.

Second, I was anxious to try out this new converter, the first I had seen that actually works with Absolute.

um, nh? If you're worried about CO, I think he didn't make his set.

Looks fine, against aggression i may C/C down my weak aces on occasions.

Although i usally call it "WA/WB" i think i'm mistaken. Need to go read up on this line.

wa/wb does not apply in a multiway pot with many possible draws. if we are ahead we are not way ahead (ie. QJ has 9 outs against us). if we are behind, we are not way behind (ie. against JT we have 5 outs, against A9 we have many outs to tie).

nah, we're not WA of QT or KT. We're not WB JT or A9.

Hey, I just realized that converter is messed up. Should be 4 SB in the pot on this flop.

Drat. And I was happy to finally see a converter for Absolute. Anyone know of any others that work for Absolute?
