Ugly one, Does my line totally suck?

Villain is 12/6/1.5 over 200 hands

So I'm thinking on this one, I'm either Way Ahead or Way behind. He either has a pair of aces or QQ-TT. I can just check call down and lose the minnimum, and not fold him out. But is this small pot worth trying this line? Also, I know the FD is out there but I think Heads Up, the bigger concern is a bigger pair. The turn is an easy call, but what if that 2 is a diamond?

Looks good. Still call the turn if it's a blank, he'll bet a lower pocket pair here again. I like a check/fold on the river.

I don't mind this river check. You could bet/fold, but you might be paying off an ace scared of the flush, and an underpair might give it up vs. two overcards and a flush draw.

I'm dumping to a 2 of diamonds on the turn. I think there are just too many hands that are beating you, even though you hit your king.

how about a check raise on the flop to try to get a free card and maybe even take the hand down right there?

I like it. I don't like checkraising the flop why the hell would you want to do that?

You're right that if he hit the flop, he's most likely ahead of you. We can't know his range precisely, but here goes:

AA = 3
KK = 1
AK = 6
AQ = 12
AJs = 3
ATs = 3
KQs = 2
99 = 3

QQ = 6
JJ = 3
TT = 6

This doesn't look so good, but I think the flop is worth a call.

Once you're on the turn, if Villain would fire the whole way no matter what, then you could also make a case for calling down on blanks, investing 2 more BBs in the hopes of winning 5.75 BBs.

Villain doesn't seem that aggressive, though, and I think a good compromise would be to call the turn and fold unimproved if Villain bets again on the river. Once Villain bets the river, an underpair isn't looking as likely. (I think the chances of an underpair go down somewhat on the turn and then even more on the river.)

i'd raise preflop... but not raising isn't exactly a huge mistake...

against this tighty the flop seems close... from there, standard
