AK flops TPTK. Big flop raise. I\'m lost.
Villain is 44/10/3 after only a few rotations.
I'm pretty much lost in this hand. Should I just fold TPTK on the flop? I think calling the raise and betting out the turn + folding to further aggression doesnt work because the pot gets too large.. I think you fold this to his TT... unless you've seen him do this with TP great kicker.

Re: AK flops TPTK. Big flop raise. I\'m lost.
I don't see the point in calling the flop raise just to check/fold a blank turn with only 1/2 pot left in your stack.
I think you should either fold or reraise allin on the flop. Or get the money in on a blank turn. Then again I'm really tired right now. |

I agree, my line was terrible. I should probably have folded to the huge bet.

I agree, my line was terrible. I should probably have folded to the huge bet. [/ QUOTE ] It wasnt really huge, it was only a pot sized raise, in fact, it was less than pot size (pot is 14, 6 to call making 20, so to make a pot sized raise, he would make it 26 to play). If you call the raise, call the turn (or even better, push the turn, in case he has diamonds). |

Re: AK flops TPTK. Big flop raise. I\'m lost.
After that weak turn bet I probably c/r this lag all in. He very well could be on the flush draw here.
Edit: With those stack sizes you are making a commitment decision here on the flop. You might as well open push your remaining 25 ish on the turn. |

tough decision here... most of it is judgemental. Is your opponent a TAG? LAG? If its a TAG, I can't really see what your beating here. His play screams set.

Re: AK flops TPTK. Big flop raise. I\'m lost.
yeah, i call this hand down or push too often to some outrageous 2 pair flop or AT TT AA haha, i've come to the conclusion that a pair isnt that good when they come over the top hard.. unless u got a nice read.

Fold flop. It's tough, but it's correct too much of the time.
Edit: With stack sizes, I like pushing flop to get called by at best a flush draw. You shouldn't see a turn with chips. Folding is best though. |

I dont see how you can call that flop raise and fold to that wimpy turn bet. Make a decision on the flop and follow through. The flop raise looks pretty standard, not big at all.
