Default Any value in a \"Round Robin\" bet?

I noticed that Intertops offers Round Robin style betting on parlays. From what I can tell, this is similiar to "boxing" a horse raising bet. That is, if you are betting on results A, B, and C, a round robin parlay pays if any combination of AB, AC, or BC hit. Obviously, you make the most if you hit all three games, but you at least get something back if you only hit 1 or 2 games. And of course you pay 3 units for these three separate bets.

My question is if there is any reason at all to make this kind of bet? The only way I can see myself betting them is picking three longshots and putting a VERY small wager on all three, and hope for the best.

Any thoughts?
