Default Buying a bathrobe

When I woke up this morning, for the first time since I moved to San Diego, it is chilly. I need a robe as my house has no heating or AC (normal for these parts). I have had plenty of experience with robes but have never found one I really like.

No silk, only terricloth or some other thick, towel type material. My old Ralph Lauren Polo robe, despite having a horse sewn into it, after a couple washes lost its fluffy lushness. Its that fluffy soft thing that I'm going for overall.

Does anybody have any personal experience with a robe that they really like that doesn't lose its lush qualities after a couple washes? Money is not a factor. TX.

My bath robe is 100% egyptian cotton. I bought it about 5 months ago and it is still very soft and fluffy. I highly recommend it.

Since price is no object, order one from a Ritz Carleton or other luxury hotel/spa. They usually are of superior quality and if you are dissatisfied will accept a return.

The Monte Carlo Spa in Vegas sells great robes. I bought two on my last trip. I also have one from the Renassaince hotel chain that I purchased in Chicago last year. Not bad either.

You do realize you're responding to Jake, right? Which would mean the lady in question has to be pushing 90 at least.
