Amazon said it would be delivered by June 16th. I just finished reading cardplayer on the way to work. Did you know that when you hit what is almost definitely the best hand, the correct bet is 2x the pot? That McEvoy is a freaking genius.

2x the pot eh? I don't think I have bet more than the pot when not pushing in quite a while. Does he at least advise betting 2X the pot on bluffs as well? Thanks Tom! Keep those weak tight predictable players weak tight and predictable for us.

I ordered mine my amazon.ca (Canadian version eh), they still say it will probably ship the last week of May [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

This is the last time I purchases a new 2+2 outside the website, although Chuck's cookie needs are too much IMHO, and I have to reset all my firewalls to be able to access my conjelco account.

I got greedy and ordered through amazon, b/c they had an earlier date than 2+2. I should know better.

I can't believe that he gets paid to write about poker. His last two articles were about "power plays" which advocated playing huge hands to get the least amount of chips possible. Thank god for the Mattros addition, after Daniel N. stopped really talking poker, it was barely worth the read.

So, how about a preview. Who's the killer? Is it true that Dan is really Mason's father?

I'm sort of convined that McEvoy and Cloutier are just trying their damndest to make other players worse.

And, I mean, there's something to be said for that.

I noticed on Wednesday that my order, that I placed 3 weeks ago for 1+2 was still unfilled. Yet they were saying the book was in stock. Two emails later, they upgraded it to free overnight shipping and I had it next day. Their fault, but I got it anyway.
