Default Party Bonus Code

I received this email the other day from PP...

Thank you for being a part of Party Poker. We have a surprise for you. There's 50% Extra (max $100) waiting for you at Party Poker on your next deposit.

This bonus is only for select players. To claim this bonus you must make a deposit before JANUARY 01, 2005 23:59 EST using bonus code "REAL$100" and play raked hands equal to 5 times the Bonus Amount within 30 days of making the deposit. For example, if you deposit $100 today, you will get $50 in bonus and you will need to play 250 raked hands before JANUARY 28, 2005. Click on this link for further details.

I'm curious as to how difficult this will be to clear. It seems like it shouldn't be that hard considering I cleared the Paradise bonus in about a week. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Dave

You'll only have to play 500 raked hands to clear the full amount ($100). Depending on how many table you play, this could be done in not too much time.

If you were to just play .5/1, my guess is about 650-700 dealt hands would clear this bonus. You could do this in a matter of a few hours if you really crank out the hands.

Thats what I thought, seems like it shouldn't be too bad if I two table .5/1.

These types of bonuses (50% and only 5x) typically are account specific. The email even notes that the code is for only certain accounts. Doesn't hurt to try, obviously, but I'm going with the odds and that it's an account specific code. Hope I'm wrong though and you post otherwise!

With regards to the Party bonuses, with only a 5x requirement, these are great and typically quick and easy. For the last Party bonus, I elected to try $25NL (4 tabling) and I believe I average around 85% of the hands being raked! In addition to the bonus, ended up having a great run.

Typically, the raked hands are faster at NL as the rake starts at a smaller amount. Best of luck to the original poster!

Thanks for the info... thought it was account specific. Now, there's another post about a different Party code. Trying to find out if it's account specific as well.

Sorry guys, didn't realize it was account specific. Figured I might help some people out and get my question answered at the same time.
