Yeah... From what I understand, 40th out of 2400, and turning a $7700 profit, isnt a bad weekend. Great job.

Yeah, I played pretty tight after I hit that set. Basically was ground down the whole way. I openraised 1 hand with AKo and stole the blinds and antes. I was very card dead. No pairs. Marginal hands facing a raise and reraise. Oh well, I could have tried bluff-reraising preflop when I had the chips to do it when Hellmuth or another big stack raised. Played pretty much by the book though.
On my bust hand, I had A5o on the button. It folded to Fischman in the cutoff, and he openraised with a huge stack. I only had 5 BB's at that point, so I pushed in hoping the blinds would fold and Fischman didn't have a pair or bigger Ace. Well he had TT and now back to LA. Thanks for all the sweat guys. |
