Default calculating stack ratio

to any readers ... do you use M as a ratio of your stack the the starting pot ... or do you just look at how many big blinds you have ... which helps you better understand the strength of your stack .....thank you

why does it matter? a ratio is a ratio and you adjust play accordingly.

the number of BB isn't nearly as useful as M ratio. the descrepancy is magnified once the antes kick in... simply adding up BB's won't give you an acurate view of your stack strength.
