I see when I get there, but it sounds tougher than 7-9 bad players at a lower buyin.

Of course but 4/10 players being bad is a lot. The fact that good players are involved doesn't matter that much IMO.

Agreed, especially if you can get a good seat relative to the bad ones. Also, like you said, playing with good players is more fun (unless they beat you...)

LOL, I don't do seat selection either. Always the 1 or 10 seat if I can.

I've never played a SNG not in seat 10. Do you do this just as a superstition, or when you are playing lots of tables you find it easier to pay attention when you are in the same spote everywhere?

Nick,

Any thoughts of putting him all in here with his weak lead and your OESD, or was the fold due to a read on the weak lead?

Regards,
Woodguy

Nice tourney. TY for sharing. I am suprised the push police haven't gotten on your ass more for pushing with any 2 more often, esp. your first 2 SB once it was HU.

The constant theme amongst all the good players seems they are very tight in mid rounds, loosen up in the end and don't make loose calls.

Gammon was uber tight in this one.

did you make this move with 7,7 because this is a standard play or because it was a min-raise or because you thought he was open raising too much (or because you thought he was an idiot)? it's more aggressive than I would be with 77, so just wondering.

on this early hand:

Did you think that Bootarin overplayed his a-q here or would you make this play with what looks like a player on a button steal. I mean, blinds are only 15/30 and the button raised to t175 which certainly looks like he doesn't want action, but I still doubt I make this move with a-q.

thanks.
