Default Borgata or Taj Mahal for a bunch of daily NL tourneys ??

First of all thanks for any input anyone can give me here.

I'm looking at playing in about three or four days worth
of the daily NL tourneys the Borg and Taj puys on, looks
like the Borg has two a day at 75 to 150 buyin and Taj
runs two a day at 50.00 buyin. The room rates seem to more
tolerable at the Taj in about September.

Anyone know about how many players these daily tourneys
draw at both these casinos?

.....I've never been to AC before......

Thanks again

Hey there - I was just at the Taj last week (Friday) to play in the the $50 tourney - about 150 players, lasting over 4-5 hours - a dealer told me that's more than they usually get, but it is generally around 100 at least I believe.

I would go to the Taj. I like their tourneys better. I played in the 12:15 last tuesday and there was about 120 people. A lot more than I had expected really. The tourney was fun and about as good a structure as you could ask for in a twice- daily tournament. Borgata of course is a nicer, higher class casino with slightly higher class patrons but I still prefer the Taj.

I prefer to play at the Taj, however I play in both casinos tournaments.

Next time do a search and you will find a lot of posters asking the same question.

Enjoy yourself and post a trip report.

Any reson you are discounting the Trop? I actually like the tournaments there the best. Also, double check the borg schedule.. it changed recently and I could swear they only have one a day now. Unforuntely the website is down at the moment so I can't double check.

Thanks for the comments.

The Borg website was up and running this morning, Monday
July 4th and showed a morning tourn and an evening tourn
with different buyin amounts.

The TM is a flat 50 + (15 I think) twice a day Monday-Friday.

I never thought of the Trop, but I'll check their website.
Thx

The Taj was running 50+15 and 100+20 SNGs today. I think they had about 8 between 12-6, but that number could be low as I wasn't listening closely for them b/c my NL game sucks.

I tought the Borgata recently changed to a 100 +20(?) 10:00 AM freezeout tourney. Got rid of that 11:00 AM rebuy

How long down the TM $100+20 10:15am tournament usually run?

How many people enter in it? and do they cap the entries (do I need to get there early?!)
