i don't know what the definition of clone is that we're working with.

they're nexgens, with labels that are meant to imitate the trademark paulson "classics".

Sign up at www.pokersourceonline.com and do the Nevada Jacks skulls promotion. 300 chip set for free. Fullfilling the requirements at Party (you're out of luck if you already have an account there) are incredibly easy, and Absolute poker is pretty easy too.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Im definately not getting the ebay set as looking closely at the picture the chips look poorly cut and jagged on some edges; I assume most are like that if he didn't bother removing those from the pictures.

Ill probably start by clearing that bonus but I've been playing primarily on party for awhile now but I've never played on Absolute so I'll give it a go.

Thanks again

Just a quick thought Artsemis, as I used to be a dealer and played a but if casino poker.

Clay chips tend to do like billiards chalk. When you shuffle them, eventually the clay wears off and gets into everything.

For around the house I'd prefer the plastic ones myself. Or even metal ones like some casinos use for $1 chips.

Just a thought.

I use the NexGen-2 chips at home. They feel and stack much better than the dice chips. For the price I think they're some of the better chips you can get. But, they in no way compare to real clay.

When you say "real clay" like this, are you saying solid clay or real clay with an insert?

there is no such thing as a clay chip with an insert. chips with inserts are plastic. retailers and ebay sellers that tell you otherwise are, how you say...liars.
