this is a really good thread. it is nice to see all of you thinking about your inner game rather than just poker hands and how you did last month. all winning players have a big ego and it is needed to have the confidence to weather all the bad things that go wrong in poker. If you can keep it together and play the same winner or loser then you have the stuff to last in the long run. the biggest mistake people make is to continue playing when things arent right. thats time to quit and play later when you have it together. there is no hurry to get even or play, as you have a whole lifetime to build your wealth. and little leaks in your play add up to so much over time it can break the bank of england. say you play 200 days a year. and each day you make just 40 dollars in dumb mistakes. thats 8000 a year given away. times that by 40 years of playing and you blew 320,000. more than most people i know have to their name. not to even think about what you could blow playing much higher as you all will that put the effort into your game. thats why keeping on track is essential. good luck.
