Default Are small live tournaments easier than online??

I have never played in a live tournament but I would like to go to the local casino which has a max capacity for about 160 players per tournament. I am just wondering how small live tournaments compare in difficulty to online tournaments. My guess is that online tournaments would be harder with all the arratic play plus you get more quality hands online.

I have 1 win under my belt ($5 rebuy 150+ players), ive done well in smaller online tournaments (less than 500 players) making the money and getting near the final table several times. I do well in these online tournaments which have bigger fields than that of which I would find in a live tourney at my local casino. Since I never played in a live tournament I don't know if those tournaments I play online are actually more difficult or easier than those I would find in my 160 player capacity tournaments at my local casino.

*note: I doubt my local casino sells out every tourney so the actual average might be 100 players per tourney or even less*
