Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/2)

Tonight's show is scheduled to be a 200 min/max buyin NL game with 3/5 blinds. If it's like the other games this week, it'll be boring to watch, with commentary to match.

On a sorta related topic, if Denny is around to commentate tonight, I know he's said he "created" the F-word rule in tournaments. I can understand the need for one at times (dealer/player abuse), but why should there be a penalty if it's said in frustration? (Yes, people shouldn't really use that word, but vocabulary isn't really in people's thoughts at that moment). If you're around, enlighten us please.

Why was the friday night broadcast so horrible? I almost always enjoy the "big" game on friday nights but the one announcer wanted me to have someone "tyson" my ears off. Thank goodness a quality announcer is on tonight. Load up the players with free drinks and lets see the show.

I assume you mean Terry, it's what happens when the A-list commentators are away, you get stuck with people like that.

LOL, just saw a great play. This guy tried to bluff a dry side pot with 5 hi.

AA raises, 45 suited of clubs calls, 55 goes all in for $30, AA calls, 45 calls.

Flop
one club, check check

Turn
Ac

The guy with 45 suited goes all in, trying to take down the pot with 5 hi
So the guy with AA calls him

River
blank

LOL, why bet with 54, even if you get AA out, you still win nothing

Did anyone just catch Seat 4 trying to throw a tip to the dealer after taking down a pot... the dealer accidentally knocking back in front of Seat 4 and Seat 4 placing the chip back into his stack? LOL....

Edit: Amuse me... I'm just trying to bring some LIFE into this action-packed table we're watching...

I'm afraid that hasn't been much to amuse me on the show so far. The less said, the better.

Does the Bike archive these shows? Can they be watched at a later date? IF so, how? TIA

They do offer archives for 14.95/month. Click on the "on demand" banner on www.thebike.com to sign up.
