Nothing wrong with this - If he's willing to do this on a Flush draw you want him to. I'd put him on an overpair here, sometimes you'll be set v set, but there's no way I'm not playin this for all my money.

he had 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

flush didn't land and I hit quads on the river.

thanks for the confidence, was worried about higher trips with such a big raise.

By the time the raises began u already knew he could have a higher set or a draw. First case, not much u can do. Second case u are correct to put your money in.
Good luck

In that case don't forget to add him to your notes, cause he is willing to put all his chips with a draw to a non nut flush.

So? Drawing to any flush HU is about as good as drawing to a nutflush in a full field (unless there is a three flush on the board). If villain had an OESFD I'd be happier with his play.

FWIW, he DID have top pair as well. For all he knew he was flipping with an overpair or even ahead the way some people play! Not saying I would play it the same way, but I don't think villain played this horribly.
